Nita's Design Pin Doll

I love and admire my 5 year old's art. She started on the human figure last year and has steadily improved. I have picked a few elements of her design and copied them to make this pin doll. The body is her design from last year when the body was not so complicated. I have taken an artist's liberty and given my pin doll 4 fingers and 4 toes.

She has noticed and learned more about hair now and does not draw the hair like she used to. I love the hair, don't you?

Your daughter must be a natural born artist! I love her drawing. Her bodies are surprisingly in proportion for a five year old. Maybe you could start a scrap book with her art work. I wish I had done that with my kids' art work- would be wonderful to look back on.
Peace-
Linda

What a great idea to replicate your daughter's art with your own artistic creation! You two are going to enjoy making things together through the years! Love Nita's drawings! And your pin doll is SO HAPPY! Makes me smile to see it!

Oh this is lovely! What a lucky Mom you are - having your daughter design dolls for you! Just think how they are going to improve as she gets older, LOL.
