I thank my friend Debbie for sending me the pictures again this week. She took the last week's pictures for me too. Looking at my work in a picture is a tough thing to do since I want to make so many changes but can't do right now. This waiting is tough too. I wish I could reduce the length of the right arm a bit. Also give more space between the body and the right arm. Trim the tummy a bit. Changes I made this week: I filled out the hair a bit since there were gaps in the strands. I also added a crown. I plan to add a starfish under the left arm or over it. I have 2 more weeks before the class is done. So I think I will hollow out the sculpture this week and then make the fine changes during the last class.

Wow Heera! Your mermaid is coming along very nicely. You will bring her to doll club when she's all finished right? :-)
Well I don't see anything wrong with the arm. The length is perfect. The elbow falls at the right place and so does the palm. Have a look at your body and see where your elbow is in relation to your body and where your palm reaches you will know what I mean. At least that is what I think but then I am no expert. I think like all artists you are too critical of your work. You did a fine job seeing that it is your first. Can't wait to see her finished.
We all are so critical of ourselves, pictures are good for that, seems we all see our faults in the pictures. The thing is most others don't unless we point it out to them, LOL. I think you are doing a fantastic job on your mermaid and her arm looks fine to me. Love the added crown.
Heera, remind me if we ever should meet face to face to immediately place you in the nearest corner! Your mermaid is astonishingly lovely! NO MORE BEING SELF-CRITICAL! You are an ARTIST, dear girl! Truly!
Oh Whoa Heera, You have got to be very proud of your Mermaid!! It is such fun watching her come to life, I have to say I didn't see any thing at all wrong with her arm, I adore her!!
Heera, I love how your mermaid is coming along. she is going to be stunning.
I think you are being much too critical of your sculpt- she is gorgeous and amazing. You have a real talent for sculpting!
Heera I love your sculpt, where are you taking this class? She is fantastic, you go gal. Hugs, Kat
